HYPER ISLAND - INTERACTIVE AUDIOVISUAL WORKSHOP

I was invited as an alumni by Hyper Island to hold “Experimenting with Interactive Audiovisual workshop” for the Motion Creative class of 2024.  

The workshop happened over an afternoon in Stokcholm and it was divided into phases:

Phase 1 - Developing Interactive Audiovisuals

I showcased an interactive project I've developed in Touch Designer + After Effects and give a brief overview on how was it done.

Phase 2 - Exploring Meaningful Art
Participants selected a favorite song to work on.
They reflected on what the music signifies to them or the emotions it evokes.

Phase 3 - Personalization
I guided attendees in creating a simple “skeleton” for their own project.
Participants then incorporated their own material and record their unique piece.


Phase 4 - Show case or Editing 

For those interested, I assisted in creating a 10-second snippet suitable for social media, using their recorded visuals.
