ARTIST: Tu Lion Summer releases

ROLE: VIDEO DESIGN
Invited from Liquorice Fields, Berlin based label to conceptualize and create visuals for their summer releases (4 singles) of Tu Lion, South African, lo-fi artist.
With an idea to blend the soothing and contemplative sounds of Tu Lion’s lofi music with the fluidity and expressiveness of contemporary dance, this project aimed to create a harmonious synergy between music and movement, offering an immersive experience that evokes emotions, reflection, and connection.
For this project I worked with local choreographers/dancers, videographer and a screen artist to develop the assets for this body of work that expresses sensitivity and movement and foster the local community.
About Liquorice Fields: it’s a thriving hub for LO-FI enthusiasts, fostering a sense of community through the exchange of art and ideas, where artists and listeners alike are united by the intrinsic power and beauty of music.
