Hi! I’m Nicole Chufi (she/her), Brazilian mix-heritage (Italian/Lebanese), motion designer & audiovisual artist, with a background in digital production, events and sound.
I love designing rhytym-based compositions and translating concepts for animation, film, audiovisuals and immersive experiences.
Moreover, I carry a research and development practice:
Immersive Lab, where I experiment with conceptual AI, Interactive Design and Spacial Design for immersive experiences. This practice has led me, most recently, to be selected for AI Performance Playground at Sónar Barcelona 2024, Unmute Light residency at Värmeverket for underrepresented artists, being invited to speak at Motion Plus Design Satellite, Creative mornings and host a workshop at Hyper Island.
I’m Stockholm-based, and have lived in Berlin, Sydney, Budapest, San Francisco, New York and São Paulo.
My practice revolves in curiosity for adapting and experimenting. These are my mediums for expression: Touch Designer, After Effects, ComfyUI, Cinema 4D, Notch, Adobe Premier & Ableton Live.

Often times, I design concepts based on feelings, moods and aesthetics.
I love to play with colorful palettes, textures, a fusion of abstract and realistic themes, and telling stories through electronic and athmospheric sounds.

Being an expat for +10 years, my inspiration comes from Humans I’ve met and conversations I had, music I listen to, cultures I’ve experienced, places I’ve seen, and nature I got lost and breathed in.
