For EXUVIA, presented as part of NUBIA Labs 2026 at ESPRONCEDA Barcelona, I collaborated with performer and creative director Ailin Bars to explore the possibilities of the body as an instrument — a living system capable of generating sound, movement, and interaction.

Through an extensive research and development process, we investigated the relationship between gesture, sound, and technology. I recorded live instruments, curated and designed sonic materials, and developed interactive audio systems that responded to the performative language of the piece.

I also composed the soundtracks for the three acts of the performance, creating an evolving sonic landscape that accompanied the debut presentation and shaped the relationship between body, technology, and space.

Directed by Ailin Bars, EXUVIA is an immersive performative installation where body, technology, and matter intertwine in real time. Combining digital art, contemporary dance, live performance, and sound, the work creates a living ecosystem where each movement becomes an activation point for image, sound, and trace.

Through motion capture, sensors, and real-time systems, EXUVIA explores new forms of perception between the physical and digital realms. The body becomes an interface, triggering light, sound, and visuals to create a shared experience between performers, technology, and audience.

EXUVIA was presented within NUBIA Labs 2026, ESPRONCEDA’s platform dedicated to digital and interdisciplinary artistic research.
