ECHOES OVER WIND - OKUBI ft CHUFI

Echoes over Wind is a narrative/track written/composed by Chufi and produced by Okubi.
The story follows the feeling of “youth” after a certain age where reckless has a weight of responsibility.
It was based on CHUFI’s summer in Berlin.
In the music video, the main character's journey through the cityscape is depicted as an introspective experience, that gets lost in “Echoes over Wind” blurring the lines between reality and imagination. As she moves through the reckless memories in the city, she also faces alarming thoughts which is represented by cartoonish characters, and the police serving as Ego, her surroundings seem to meld with her inner thoughts and emotions, creating a dreamlike atmosphere.
The visual representation of the main character's inner turmoil is symbolized by her interactions with various personas or "egos," each representing different aspects of her personality or desires. These personas may appear as reflections of her past, present, or imagined future selves, further blurring the boundaries between her experiences and her subconscious.
Throughout the video, the main character experiences vivid visions and moments of disorientation, as if caught between multiple realities. Scenes may shift abruptly, and familiar locations take on a surreal quality, enhancing the sense of disconnection and uncertainty.
The ambiguity of whether her experiences are real or merely figments of her imagination adds to the song's themes.
The music video then becomes a visual journey through the complexities of identity, memory, and perception, mirroring the song's exploration of the tension between the freedom of youth and the constraints of adulthood.
To be released in May/June 2024.
Technicalities:
The music video includes mixed media techniques of 2D motion design, and AI generated shots.
Cover Artwork has also utilized the same principles mixing 3D render, Text2Image, and bleding.
