Serei — a title rich with layered meaning. It evokes ser (to be) in Portuguese, while also calling to mind Sereia (mermaid), a symbol of transformation and the mythical allure of instinctual truths.

This world-building project unfolds as a journey of becoming, where metamorphosis and intuition guide the emergence of a wild self.
It honors the untamed feminine through ritual and ancestral knowledge that reconnects humans to nature. Themes of age, beauty, and wisdom are reimagined here in their rawest, most authentic forms.

Drawing inspiration from the profound teachings of Women Who Run with the Wolves and the mythologies of Iara and Imanja, Serei dares to explore what it means for a woman to awaken to her instincts and embody the power of female archetypes.

NARRATIVE

Serei was born of water — fluid, formless, more vibration than language.

She began as a quiet story, an intuition moving beneath the surface.

Then she became sound — breath, voice, synths becoming AI tribal beats.

Then she became image — shifting shapes in waves, light, and shadow.

She became performance — holding space, movement, body, sound, visuals, and voice.

The name Serei (in Portuguese) holds layers of meaning:

being, becoming, and myth — the siren’s call of transformation and instinctual truths.

She is a love for what lies beneath the ocean —

the hidden depths, the currents that carry her.

Serei is not me, but she moves through me,

an instinct for what is hard to name,

a flow I learn to listen to, again and again.

Wild intuition.
